I was robbing the craddle when I met my wife. I was 21 and she was 16. At a party of course and she was my second choice as my first choice was already attached.

She knows exactly about the whole second choice situation. We joke about to this day. She may even join this site and you can ask her yourself. I am glad that the first girl I was interested in was taken as I have an great wife (well most of the time hehe).
And no it was not against the law. It would have been if she was younger than 14. The States it is 16 here in Canada it is 14.

DH and I met while I was working as a bartender. I worked weekends at a bar as a second income...I was newly single and was looking for a little" something, something" I didn't date patrons at the bar, so to avoid any relationship drama. I was into the suit guys, all stylish, not the handy man type my DH is. DH had really sweet eyes, I had to give him a chance!
We met in June99', went on our 1st date in Sept.99'...he moved in in Oct.99' we got engaged In APril 00'in Nova Scotia...got married that Sept 00'...had our first that Dec.00' met married in 1 year. I can't imagine anyone else being able to tolerate me like he does. He loves me and my kids with everything he has. A real family man! We have been together for 7 years now and three kids.

Bill and I have known each other for 15 years. He was dating my cousin and I was dating mr. Wrong. There was always something there but we never acted on it because we were always with different people. Then he married my cousin. That lasted 3 months and she cheated on him. So we moved into together(as friends) in Belleville. I went to college and he worked. I was dating another Mr. Wrong. Finally after 6 months of living together we got together. What a great story to tell how children

*flushes with happy memories* just absolutely amazing, mine was. funny, but amazing... I was in Australia Zoo (QLD) and was trying to find where Harriet the Tortoise was (guide-map in hand : and Georgia was 3. She was whining about wanting to see the 'Crikey-Man' right then and there. I was trying to calm her down and read the map when the next moment I was flat on my face. Now, I was 16 then and even though I had her at 13, I was pretty responsible as a teen. Anyway, a boy who looked absolutely gorgeous and looked around 17 helped me to my feet. He had a 4 year old next to him, who was his baby-sitting charge (he was allowed to take the kid to the zoo). He noticed Georgia and we got on talking about troublesome toddlers and life and all of that. We then started dating until 20, when we decided to marry. And out of meeting Shaun Barker, out popped Samantha Barker. And now, with two kids and two parents, the Barker family is complete :-)
