How do u and your spouse split up the housework? We dont really split the work we both do it as it needs it. ALthough I i find I do the majority of it, but Kevin does most of the outdoorstuff. We both need to put forth more of an effort to put laundry away as we both detest it. There is always a laundry basket full of clean clothes..

I do the inside stuff and my husband does the outside stuff. He does do dishes from time to time, and will change the laundry over if needed, but I do all the cleaning, bathroom etc, and cook the majority of the meals. We are pretty clean so there really isn't much involved in keeping the house clean.
I don't like to shovel snow or cut grass and he loves to do that stuff, so our arrangement works perfect for us!!

I do the general day to day clean up after the kids.... We have an amazing sitter who comes in once a week and does a good clean after she puts the kids to bed during our date night!
On sat or sunday am, hubby is the one scrubbing the ceramics on his hands and knees not me!

I'm lucky I have a really good hubby. He helps with pretty much everything There are of course certain things that he usually does like mow the lawn and shovel the driveway. Of course 90% of the meals I make, but he does help too.

that must be very hard for you browneyedgirl, and must get very tiring to have to look after the kids all the time and do most of the housework.

I help with most things. About 6 months ago I started doing the laundry which was originally my wifes job (Yeah I know I am going to hear about it for making that comment)
I will do the dishes if I need to (we have a dish washer and no I do not mean my wife lol). What I do not do is fold and dust. Yuck.

Since the renos I do the bare minimum.....vaccum, clean the bathroom and a little dusting to keep the dust down a bit. It's starting to drive me batty. Now with the hot weather even though we have central air, I'm pooped by the end of the day.

Now that I am back to work the housework as to wait until the weekend. There just isn't enough time from when I get home to when I go to bed to fit that in as well.
