I think we as parents need to make it mandatory to have a Date night every couple of months if not every month..
We are always focussed on the kids and family as a whole unit and we seem to forget how the family came to be.
Do u make time for eachother or do u take it for granted..
We attempt date nights but life usually gets in the way.. we need to make a more concetrated effort in the coming months and even if we just go for walk kidless..to reconnect and come together as a couple again

we try to, and once in a blue moon it works out..but usually something gets in the way. either no baby sitter or something else comes up and we have no money or something... i keep saying we should plan one at least once a month..but it never happens...i think its healthy to have date nights, and without them people drift apart and such. i love them just to have a night or day with out the boys climbing all over me for once ..but im usually so tired by the time we go out..lol the last couple of times we went to a movie i fell asleep near the end..hahaha

We always get out together aat least once every two months. This month we are kind of lucky. Last weekend our daughter went to Grandma's overnight and this weekend it is Nanny's turn for an overnight stay. After that, it is two weeks of vacation (one week camping)

We get out once in awhile...we don't have family to help out...and no babysitters in the area. Imagine..the babysitter needs a babysitter...odd!! LOL

We have a reular sitter who comes to our house every tuesday night. We go out for a date night.... Usually for dinner, running around or just to visit with other adult friends!

We get date nights quite a bit. I'm very fortunate to have my family who live so close. We also have a friend that we trade off with. The girls are 2 months apart and they are best friends, they look forward to sleepovers.

Maybe we could set up a Date night a month for local families..we could take turn watching eachother's children at no cost..
We could have a few meetups and see what everyone thinks.. I would totally be up for it!
