Looking for things to see, places to stay( on or off the park grounds)
Should we fly or drive
What time of year is best?
Taking kids with 9 years age gaps any sanity saver ideas so everyone is happy?

My FIL and his wife are planning to pay to take us to Disney next year (summer). All we have to do is find our own way down there.
We went to Disney for our Honeymoon and had a blast.
With the age gap, you may have some difficulty as the older one will want to do/see things that may not interest her and visa versa. When Kelly went with her mom and brother, when she was in her early teens, her mom let her go off and spend the days with some friends she met while there. Not sure how comfortable you feel about that. Hell, I am not sure I would like that, but it is an option. The only other thing I see is that everyday before you head out, you each make a list of things you would like to see/do to see if there are places/shows/rides you all are in agreement with. Make master list with those choices and mix in evenly some other choices that not everyone has agreed upon.

Well my friend and her family went down and have done both ways and figure staying off site saved them a ton of money..and it helped with the kids have some down time as well..they would have a big breakfast before they left and would just take a lunch with them . Of course they would get a treat but just did not go over board.
I am thinking of calling Disney them selves and asking some questions..and of course checking out some sites any sites u guys reccommend?

we plan on taking Aiden there when he is 4 or 5. We plan on going right around Christmas time. I went when I was in college with friends and we left Christmas Day and spent New Years in Disney World and that was great, so I would like to do something like that with Aiden. Leave here boxing day and come back after new years.
