Does your provider charge you for Stats? or even their sick days?
Mine does...I dont mind paying for the stats if they are days that my child would normally be there.. Especially since I get paid for them.
I dont think parents should be paying for their Providers sick days since the parents have to pay for someone else to watch the children..

I pay for STAT holidays, now my provider has not been sick, but she has given notice of certains she could not have Aiden there and I did not pay. I don't think mine would charge me for days she is sick though. If I give her warning the day before that Aiden won't be going I don't pay.

I get enough notice when my provider isn't able to take J. If I call last minute that J won't be there due to illness I still pay her. I don't think she expects it though. I haven't asked her about stat holidays.

I do not charge for my sick days (thats crazy!) but I do expect stats paid but only if your child is normally scheduled for the day. I give each family 3 sick days/ contract year (sept-sept) I think thats fair!
