VANCOUVER (CBC) - Police in Burnaby, B.C., are appealing for help in locating a missing 13-year-old girl, who was last seen three weeks ago in the city's Kingsway corridor, near Metrotown. Chelsea Nygren is described as a Caucasian female, with reddish-black shoulder length hair.
She is approximately 5ft 2 inches tall and weighs 100 pounds.
She was last seen on Sept. 4. But police say her grandfather did not report her missing until Wednesday, because she has gone missing before, but generally turns up within a couple of days.
Anyone who knows of her whereabouts is advised to contact the Burnaby RCMP at 604-294-7922.
A cash reward of up to $2,000 will be paid for any information which leads to an arrest and charge, Burnaby RCMP said in a statement.
